If you’re looking for luxury lodges in Scotland, then you’ve come to the right place. Whether you’re planning a perfect Highlands hot tub retreat or looking for a last-minute lodge getaway, find your dream Scottish stay within our portfolio of unforgettable hideouts.
All of our properties sit within the Cairngorms National Park, less than an hour from Inverness and around two hours from Aberdeen. Plus, you’re only ever a short car journey away from Aviemore, one of the UK’s outdoor adventure hotspots. Each one of our five lodges features a hot tub, and pets are very much welcome.
Five Hideout highlights:
Our largest luxury lodge is Highland Lodge Estate. With its eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms, this baronial-styled Highland property sits on a private 26-acre estate and is a dream for large group gatherings.
By day, bask in the magnificent mountain views and soothing river sounds of the River Dulnain. By night, cosy up by the fire after a long day in the hills, dram in hand. Guests can also sink into relaxation in the property’s very own deluxe wellness spa suite.
Five Hideout highlights:
Are you seeking the tranquillity of the countryside without the inconvenience of being out in the sticks? Nestle into this 19th-century granite Victorian lodge, which is conveniently located in Grantown-on-Spey, a picturesque Highland village with a great selection of local cafés, shops, restaurants and pubs. Here, you can also hop onto the iconic Speyside Way, a long-distance route winding through 65 miles of Scottish countryside.
Five Hideout highlights:
Perfect for a multi-generational getaway, these neighbouring properties (Croft House and Wee Croft House) sit within a glorious 200-acre Highland estate of forest and open countryside.
Whether walking, biking or skiing, it’s an ideal base for adventure sports in the Highlands. But on greyer days, retreat into the lodge’s charming interior: read a book by one of two open stone fireplaces, cook up family favourites in the farm-style kitchen, or snuggle up with a film from the comfort of one of the deluxe bedrooms.
Five Hideout highlights:
Straight out of a fairytale: this log cabin – and its riverside location – makes for the most magical Scottish holiday property. Set within 10 acres of pastoral croft land on the outskirts of Carrbridge, Snowy River Lodge is within walking distance of the village’s brilliant pub and cafe. Little ones will be enchanted with the hand-carved wooden bunks, while you take your pick of one of the thoughtfully decorated super king en-suite bedrooms.
After a day spent outdoors, unwind in the hot tub, spa suite or barrel sauna. Then gather the gang around the riverside fire pit and soak up memories under a blanket of stars.
Five Hideout highlights:
It’s not every day your Scottish Highland getaway features a fisherman’s bothy. But then again, this isn’t a run-of-the-mill Scottish Highland getaway. This is Old Mill on the Spey, a specially converted 18th-century millhouse perched on the banks of the – you guessed it – River Spey.
Thoughtfully designed for all the family, this is the place for a rural Scottish retreat. On your doorstep: your choice of the area’s local walks and some of the best skiing in the country. Plus the nearby village of Boat of Garten – featuring a steam railway, pub, golf course, shops and restaurants – is only minutes away.
