The Crofts of Cairngorm is a traditional stone cottage and separate steading full of traditional rustic character and original architecture with its own 4-acre grounds, situated in a stunning mountain environment that offers breathtaking views of the majestic Cairngorm Massif towering above the mighty Spey River below.

The Crofts of Cairngorm holiday cottage concept is totally unique within our portfolio, comprising two individual 18^th-Century buildings, only a few yards apart. The two-level croft house (main house) serves as the main gathering and living space with sleeping accommodation. The ground floor country style kitchen carries all the necessities for today’s modern cook while retaining many original features including an exposed stone wall, traditional sash windows, and original floors. The bespoke designed dining area seats up to 14 to provide ample dining space while the chefs work their magic.

The Highland living room welcomes you with its natural cosy ambiance created by the wood burning stove, low ceiling, and rustic wood floor. The thoughtfully selected soft furnishing, plush over-sized sofa and Stag Antler light fixtures provide the perfect comfort to enjoy a quiet dram or the 42” flat screen TV with Freeview TV and DVD player. With plenty of natural light welcoming the outside in, this self catering holiday cottage offers a lovely relaxed atmosphere to share with family and friends while on a break at the Crofts.

The Croft House also features a 1st floor King-size master suite with wood accents and an en suite with an enclosed glass shower, under floor heating, and heated towel rail. A second 1^st floor Queen-size room with wood accents has an attached shower room with enclosed glass shower, under floor heating, and heated towel rail. Both rooms create a rustic country restfulness and include a reading/sitting area for quiet moments to daydream while gazing over the picture post card views of the Cairngorm mountains to the west or highland countryside to the east.

The hand crafted log staircase links to the third bedroom on the ground floor. This unique bunk room features the popular “Powder Bunks” which the kids LOVE and is the owner’s signature touch. This unique design is made up of two single beds and one double bed full sized bunks: great for kids of any age. They are self-contained ski chalet-styled private bunks with TVs, storage, and power sockets for tablets or mobiles.

20 meters away, the Wee Croft House provides two additional bedrooms. The first bedroom, the Highland Honeymoon Suite, is an irresistibly calm and romantic oasis featuring an open stone fireplace, super king-size bed, leather love seat, antique rugs and furnishings. The en-suite has a bathtub + shower, under floor heating and towel rail. Another famous Powder Bunk Room made of logs from the site and rustic timber is on 3 levels and holds 5 individual single bunk beds and one double bed. Each self-contained private bunk provides a TV, storage, and power sockets for tablets or mobiles. Next to the epic powder bunk room awaits a mini spa suite with a corner-jetted bathtub, glass enclosed shower, under floor heating and towel rail.

Crowning the many jewels of The Croft property, is a huge covered decked area located close to the Wee Croft House. Designed with the Scottish climate in mind, your party can soak in fantastic mountain views from a large hot tub close to a fully fitted outside bar and covered BBQ. The deck also houses a fantastic sauna that can accommodate 8 people, ample comfy seating for lounging and relaxing under cover or in the open air. To fully complement this amazing area, a fire pit has been crafted with bench seating around it, so that everyone can stargaze or reminisce around the open fire.
